UNL Arch 223: Assignment 2 Submission 1
Table of Contents

Summary

The first round of submissions show a promising variety of modeling approaches that remix 'Gothic' geometries to create different spatial constructions.

For future developments, students should consider the following:

  • Part-to-Whole: Consider how the constructions can be diagrammatically represented to show the relationships between the overall assembly and the individual parts.
  • Scale: Introduce scale into the images to demonstrate the size of these pieces. Are these pieces the size of a building? Piece of furniture? Jewelry?
  • Narrative: How can these designs be explained through a series of presentation slides?
