This is selection of design-build work completed between 2005-2006 at Randy Brown Architects
In the case of the laboratory house, the processes of design and construction were indistinguishable from one another. After a period of initial exploration through model making and digital design, the design team transitioned into the construction crew to realize the vision. Digital models aided in determining material quantities and creating strategies for fabricating features with higher geometric complexity.
